Romans 8: 22. 'The earth groans'
Who will believe that the reports of
earthquake activity in 2014 would fit in perfectly with scripture? Who
will accept that what is going on within the bowls of planet earth is a
fulfillment of doctrine and prophecy, the severe warnings from the
intrinsic Sovereign God of creation, who is desperately wanting to get
through to this sin-sick world, led by sin-sick world leaders, that the
very world we live in is cracking up and His divine call for repentance is falling on deaf ears, and hardened hearts.
Take heed lest
there be in any one of you, an evil heart of unbelief..it says in
Hebrews 3: 12. Yes, that's
exactly what the Bible does say about all those who refuse to believe ...
you have an evil heart ... and need to deal with it fast. You need to do
something about it right now before it's to late.
In the commentary of Yeshua to the four disciples on the Mount of Olives
once upon a time, the Saviour of the world gave some very clear answers
to some very clear questions. This two part question was put to The
Master:- What will be the sign of your coming, and the end of the
world? There followed a long list of events that must come to pass.
Matthew 24: goes into much detail regarding the answer to that big all
important question ... ''what will be the sign of your coming and the
end of the world'' In the answer, Jesus Himself mentions there will be
famines and earthquakes in many places. Here, I shall just take one
sign.
Whenever the subject of end times is brought up, how many have noticed
that some are quick to say:- ''No-one knows the hour or the day'' In
other words, shut up, it's not important, no-one has any answers... Even
though it is Christ who provided all the answers, many - ESPECIALLY
THEM CHRISTIAN ONES - refuse to take the matter any further just because
of that 'no-one knows the hour or the day' cliché. It's as if those
few words are the only words they have ever heard, or ever been taught,
or have ever remembered from what read. It's as if they have no further
interest in the rest of what the Bible says, just those few words which
closes and collapses the whole issue of end times.. Jesus did say that
no-one would know the hour or the day, but He also gave a huge amount of
other detail that we are to be armed with by knowing the signs (not the
hour, nor the day) ... which was the nature of the question in the
first place.
There is one particular sign that we need to pay very careful attention
to and have respect for and it's the earthquake sign. Many people will
shrug this off as being a relevant sign by saying ''Oh there's always
been earthquakes, so that's nothing to go by'' .. Oh really? It shows
how uninformed those people are and have fallen under the delusion and
deception of wishy washy personal thinking.
Let's take a look at the facts rather than the fallacies of cursory
opinions. A few years ago when I was speaking on end times using this
same scripture in Matthew 24, I asked the congregation if anyone could
tell me how many earthquakes had taken place to their knowledge during
the past week. Some said none, others said maybe ten... but of course
they were only guessing.. I said no, not ten, I asked how many in the
past week not the past few minutes. They were shocked to hear that
nearly 200 earthquakes had happened in the last 7 days, even though none
were reported in the media; but it was a few years ago.
It is now March 2014. Last month I heard there had had been an
earthquake on the Greek island of Kefalonia, in a beautiful little
holiday resort called Lixurion. That's the Greek name. A few years ago,
my wife and I went to a place which was called Lixouri and wondered if
it was the same resort.. It was, but the pictures now told a very
different story to the photographs I took when we were there. Lixouri
had been battered by at least 22 strong quakes.. So bad was it that 600
buildings were demolished by the earthquakes with after shocks ranging
from 4.2 to 6.8 magnitudes, one after another, ofter with just seconds
in between. But there was no mention of this on the news..... Why should
there be?
Because of this, I decided to pay more attention to the quake and shake
scenario and I learned that a total of 83 earthquakes had occurred in
and around Greece within a period of just
12 hours.. They
were all over the place, but 22 were in Lixouri. There was nothing in
the news about any of them.. It's as if the media deliberately kept
things quiet not wanting to frighten people or reveal the truth of what
was actually taking place. With those 83 quakes, there were 50 quakes
between 4.0 and 6.8 on the Richter scale....well over 50%.. It provided
clear Biblical evidence that earthquake activity is increasing rapidly
in both velocity and frequency.. Even so, there will still be some
people stuck in a stupor that will always be more than happy to say:-
''Oh there's always been earthquakes, so it's nothing to go by'' ....
That's very Sadducee... [sad you see] ... indeed.
Psalm 46: 1 - 3. ''God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble...though the earth be removed...though the mountains are carried into the sea; though the waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof''
'Even the wind and the waves obey Him' Mark 4: 41.
