"STAND, SPEAK, AND SING" - A SPLENDID ADDRESS GIVEN BY SONYA AT "TURF" LAST NIGHT.

When Brian Mace was asked to speak a few weeks ago, one would not have known that this quiet spoken brother would have such a powerful and loud message for the church. One that should cause many to sit up and take notice regarding what we are often taught from the pulpit ...... compared to what the Bible teaches.                                                 

We are instructed to test, or try the spirits because not all spirits are from God. Do not believe every spirit is another way of putting things, and Brian does not hold back or mince words for the benefit of itching ears that don't really want to hear these sound doctrines. Challenging us at out Tuesday evening fellowship, Brian commenced with a key scripture in Titus 1: 10 & 11. which speaks of 'worthless talkers' 'unruly'  'deceivers'  teaching wrong things .. for cash. This clearly is something that is going on big time, and Brian gave evidence of examples which we can all hear and witness on the 'God channels'

Preachers and pastors who are not just paid to speak, but actually told what to preach by some higher church authority. However, the Bible gives instructions on what action we should take when we see these things happening.. The answer is found in Romans 16: 17 & 18. Listen to this... ''Now I beseech you brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them''  AVOID THEM we are told, but how many do this? .. Verse 18 goes on to say that these are such that do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple'  Are you among the simple who are being deceived?

Brian brought to our attention a long list of things that are contrary to doctrine, proving that the majority of Christians are being deceived simply because they fail to study and scrutinise the scriptures, rightly dividing the word of truth. 

Jesus warned several times that in the last days, we must watch that no-one deceives us as there are many deceivers..not just a few, but many..  Jesus also said:-  ''Ye are deceived, not knowing the scriptures''  Matthew 22: 29. 

Many preachers who pay attention to the congregation will notice that very few people come to church with a Bible, so the preacher knows he can say almost anything and get away with it because no-one is really checking to see if what is said is correct or not... (Acts 17: 11 gives us excellent advice on this matter).

Brian also talked about some of the signs that Jesus gave us, signs that would usher in His return... We are not focused on the hour or the day because it means nothing.  But the signs are essential, and are packed with information that brings vital revelation to the Saints of God.  Earthquake activity was one sign to be watching for..and it's no good saying Oh there's always been earthquakes. (See below ''CREATION GROANS''). Never in history have they been like they are now.  There are many other signs to watch out for, but for those who are not interested in these signs, they will miss out on so much that Christ lovingly warned us of.
